The site for the new Wanaka South school is on 3 hectares of land adjacent to the new Wanaka Recreation Centre, off Sir Tim Wallis Drive (entrance from Ballantyne Road) in Three Parks.
Construction of the school will start in early 2019 with the project managed by the Ministry of Education. The architects are Stephenson and Turner of Christchurch and the building contractor is Southbase Construction.
