The Ministry of Education has confirmed the enrolment scheme that will come into effect when our new school opens at the start of next year. A map of the home zone and a description can be found on the school’s website.
All Year 1 students who are living in the new home zone will be entitled to enrol at the new school. Students who are currently attending Wanaka Primary School can continue to attend that school or can choose to enrol at the new school (through to Year 6). Further information on enrolment procedures and school transport will be made available in coming weeks.
A drop-in information session on the enrolment scheme will be held at Wanaka Primary School between 5.00-7.00pm on Monday, 10 June. All parents/caregivers/whanau are most welcome to attend to meet the senior staff and Establishment Board members.
