Southbase Construction are now working hard on the final stages of our new school's build. Landscaping work, including roading and playgrounds, has now started as finishing work continues on the Hall/Admin block (note the solar panels on the roof) and the three teaching blocks.
With Spring almost with us, Southbase Construction continue to make good progress with the construction of the new school, and the associated site works. Work has now started on the new roundabout that will give access from State Highway 84 into Three Parks, and on the new road alongside the school.

The Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) issued a Building Consent for the new school on 18 April 2019, thus allowing construction of the school to now proceed apace. The site for the new Wanaka South school is on 3 hectares of land adjacent to the new Wanaka Recreation Centre, off Sir Tim Wallis Drive (entrance from Ballantyne Road) in Three Parks.
