THE FINISH GETS CLOSER
Southbase Construction are now working hard on the final stages of our new school’s build. Landscaping work, including roading and playgrounds, has now started as finishing work continues on the Hall/Admin block (note the solar panels on the roof) and the three teaching blocks.
TERM 4, 2019
A significant milestone has been reached with our 9 newly appointed teachers now joining Jodie Howard, our Foundation Principal and her senior leadership team, as we gear up for the school’s opening next year.
More Good Progress
With Spring almost with us, Southbase Construction continue to make good progress with the construction of the new school, and the associated site works. Work has now started on the new roundabout that will give access from State Highway 84 into Three Parks, and on the new road alongside the school.
July 2019 Building Progress
Recent site progress includes: Structural steel going up on the Hall and B Block; Admin roof; Block A – carpentry, roof, windows, cladding and internal partitions; Block A first fix electrical and data; VRF (heat pump) slabs laid; Netball courts cut out.
BUILDINGS TAKE SHAPE

June 2019 – Great Progress

April 2019 Buildings Progress
The Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) issued a Building Consent for the new school on 18 April 2019, thus allowing construction of the school to now proceed apace.
